It's a real hit with both adults and kids! It is dehydrated at a low temperature so the enzymes are still intact and alive, and you can seriously eat a bunch or 2 in one sitting! Who said it's impossible to eat that much kale a day?????

Ingredients
  • 2-3 bunches of kale, de-stemmed and washed
  • Sauce:
  • 1 C soaked cashews overnight
  • 1 C sunflower seeds, soaked overnight
  • 1-2 T olive oil
  • 1/4 onion
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 T agave
  • salt to taste
  • 2 T chili powder
  • 1/2 t cayenne (or less if you do not like it spicy)
  • 1/4-1/2 C nutritional yeast
  • water
Directions
  • Step 1 Rinse nuts and seeds well after soaking them
  • Step 2 Blend all sauce ingredients in a blender adding water as needed
  • Step 3 Massage onto kale leaves and place on dehydrator sheets, dehydrate for 12-24 hours until crisp
